  • `Open` Return Ticket

    Hello,

I'm in the process of booking tickets for my parents to travel to the US. I'd like to know if there could be any problem (whatsoever) - if their RETURN tickets were OPEN?

Does anyone know of any new policy that requires B2 Visa holders to have a CONFIRMED return ticket?

I just want to be sure - that my parents are NOT denied entry at the US Port of Entry for NOT having a CONFIRMED return ticket.

Please share similar experiences or situations that you may have dealt with.

    Thx!

In this situation, your best bet would be to have a return ticket already for some date, but it has the flexibility to be able to change the date later up to some max duration.

If you have that kind of ticket, it is not a problem.

It is hard to say. It is really difficult to predict exactly like that.
